The Story I Forgot to Tell
So. Several weeks ago I went wedding dress shopping with my future mother-in-law and Ashley while Mitch went golfing with his dad and one his brothers. We went to a couple of places first and then to Allyse’s in the University Mall. (What wedding dress shopping is complete without going to Allyse’s, right?) Anyway, for anyone that has ever been there, you know that there are dressing rooms and then this little waiting area with tons of mirrors by it. So basically you come out and go stand on a little pedestal thing to admire yourself in the mirrors.
I’d already tried on like a billion dresses at the other places so by the time I got to Allyse’s, I’d basically had my fun with dress shopping. I picked a few dresses, politely told the girl that was helping me that we needed do this fast, and started the trying. After each dress I tried, I’d go out to get feedback from Ash and my FMIL. When I was on my last dress (the $900 one that’s a size smaller than I normally wear and that I just loved but would never want to pay for), standing admiring myself, someone behind me said, “Are you Lavish? From the 100 Hour Board?”
!!!
It was fabulous.
